Burger build: thick cut bacon, American cheese, lettuce, griddled onion, pickles, tomato, dukes mayo
Stuart: The wagyu burger at Franklin is essentially a copy and paste of the excellent White Horse burger. The only modest change is here it also feature a slice of tomato. The patty is the same lusciously fatty creation using Snake River Farms American wagyu and it’s the star attraction. Franklin allow guests to select a temp, which means this can really shine. The bun is solid and only starts to lose cohesion towards the very end. Duke’s mayo is a good touch, offering the signature twang, and the house smoked bacon is thick and meaty adding a good texture contrast to the soft beef.
