About the burger: House-smoked bacon, grilled black forest ham, sauteed onions, cheddar and swiss cheese and Lucky 13 sauce.
Stuart: The patty here just doesn’t live up to the masses and masses of hype that is piled on top of Lucky 13. Often touted as the de facto best burger in town, the patty is pretty average and mildly disappointing. Our server didn’t ask temperature, and burgers came to the table grey and over cooked a touch. That said, the toppings are what pulls the whole thing together, and Lucky 13’s house smoked bacon is still as killer as ever. Thick Canadian bacon adds more porky-saltiness and the bun holds up well for most of the meal. Add in the cool roadhouse vibe and its a fun burger to be sure, just not the best in town that others might scream.
