About the burger: Hamburger with grilled country ham.
Hang: The burger comes on a very soft bun with dusting of flour still on it. It is so soft that it quickly gets overwhelmed by the burger and toppings so you’re lucky to finish the burger before it disintegrates. But it won’t be from the juices of the overcooked dry patty. To make up for it, the burger over compensates with a mysterious Heinz 57-like sauce instead of the traditional ketchup and mustard which is what was stated on the menu. I don’t expect too much from a $5 burger but come on, nostalgia can carry a burger only so far which is why I give such a high x factor. I will say the patty had a nice medium grind.
Stuart: As a non Utah native, I have zero nostalgia surrounding Hires Big H and come at this one purely on the burger itself. And as burgers go, this is an unrelentingly dry and unrewarding experience. Aesthetically things don’t fare much better – at best – I’d call the square burger with splosh of bright orange sauce bizarre.

Imagine not ordering the staple of a restaurant to at least try it. Then QQ that yay Heinz 57 as this great name brand thing… When reality Utah IS fry sauce. Heinz is the very basic levels of what Utah ehanced by adding mayo (fry sauce).
